All roads lead to Place-Royale!

By the Pierre-Laporte or Quebec Bridges

As soon as you cross either bridge, head for boulevard Champlain. The trip should take about 10 minutes! You can park your vehicle in one of the parking spaces along boulevard Champlain or rue Dalhousie.

By highway 73 North

Head towards Old Quebec (Vieux-Québec) and turn left on boulevard Charest. Continue driving until you reach rue Dalhousie (on your right). You will soon see the awnings in the front of the restaurants and shops on boulevard Champlain.

From the main bus terminal (rue de la Gare du Palais)

Place-Royale will be on your left. You can go on foot, which takes 20 minutes. A taxi stand is located near the exit of the bus terminal.

From downtown (Old Quebec)

Go to the Dufferin Terrace and take the funicular. You will arrive at the base of the cliff directly on rue du Petit-Champlain, then go down the Sous-le-Fort street. You can also walk down the superb staircase with its terraces, which will lead you to côte de la Montagne. Go through the Prescott Gate, walk downhill about a hundred metres (300 feet) and on your right, you will find the Breakneck Staircase, then turn left… Made it!
