Quartier Petit Champlain and Place-Royale are the perfect place to get in the spirit of the Holiday Season, and our legendary Christmas decorations are going up already. Our team has been working tirelessly to transform the district into a setting straight out of a Christmas tale, complete with a giant tree at Place-Royale, garlands of twinkling lights, decorations in the parks, and outdoor firepits.

Starting December 3, 2022, the Flip Fabrique circus artists will be back with an all-new show created especially for Quartier Petit Champlain and Place-Royale. Visitors are invited to take in the spectacular street circus acts at different locations around the district. Contortionists, a trampoline wall, and vertical dance are just some of the exciting shows in store!

A lamp lighter, a balance specialist, will act as master of ceremonies. Follow him during his visit to the neighborhood!

  1. La Grincheuse de Noël, a gift thief, will impress with her contortionist skills at 79 rue du Petit-Champlain.
  2. A vertical dance artist will perform above 20 rue du Cul-de-Sac.
  3. The Breakneck Staircase will give rise to Trampo-wall performances, performed by two trampolinists.
  4. A tightrope walker will perform breathtaking feats in Place Royale, passing more than 15 feet in the air.

To follow the story and attend all the performances, we suggest you go to the starting point.

  • At the Upside Down World Brrrr!, 79, rue du Petit-Champlain at 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Three performances per day of entertainment.

** IMPORTANT ** Note that an animation day may be postponed in case of bad weather. If the weather forecast is unfavourable to the activities, we will notify the postponement the day before the event or the morning before 10 am on our Facebook page and on this page.

Every Friday to Sunday, from December 9, 2022, to January 2, 2023, inclusively, Petit Champlain will once again welcome its wonderful roaming carolers. Place-Royale will also play host to large choirs including Odyssée Vocale, which boasts over 40 singers. The choirs will perform in front of the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church on December 17, 18, 24, and 25. What better way to hit the right note for the Holidays!
